It's been a while since I've talked about stuff, so... here? Have stuff?
After my MRI, I had a lumbar puncture which kept me in bed for basically 8 days. Another week after that, I went back to the doctor and got my official diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Got trained today on taking the meds (an auto-injectable Interferon called Rebif) and gave myself the first dose. Zero pain (and thanks to wonderful companies doing wonderful things, a $0 co-pay for me). The bills for other things still haven't arrived yet, but we'll figure it out when they do?
In other big news, a position opened at my husband's level not too far from where we used to live (and actually closer to friends) and it's looking VERY likely that he'll get it. Because it's a lateral transfer rather than a promotion, we won't get our moving expenses covered, but there are enough plus sides that we're going to give it a shot. It's not yet set in stone, but it's certainly painted on stone? We'd be looking at early September to move.
Also, getting over a horrid cold. >_< Throat still sore, though.
I've been watching Free! and really enjoying it. It has no right to give me so many feels, but I am very much so a water person, so...
Which reminds me that I still haven't been in the pool yet. >_< I'm always sick, or there's lightning, or Joe's working and I'm too tired to manage Damian in the pool with me. *sobs forever*
And that is life with Kim?
